DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Traditional Day was celeberated on 6th August 2006 Friendship Day celeberation was done on 6th August 2006 5th Anniversary of Computer Science Students Association (CESA) was being held on 17th Aug 2006 A Seminar on "Software Development Lifecycle" was organized on 17th August 2006. The Chief Guest was Mr. Arvind Thatte, Zensoft India Pvt. Ltd. Pune. A Seminar on "Industry Expectations" from an Software Engineer was organized on 9th Sept 2006. The Chief Guest was Mr. Sunil Deshpande, Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Pune. A Seminar on "Opportunities for Engineering Students in Air Force" was organized on 13th Jan 2007. The Chief Guest was Mr. V.D. Ghorpade, Deputy Director, I.T. Division, Indian Air Force A Seminar on "Software Testing" was organized on 21st March 2007. The Chief Guest was Dr. Uday Wad, Technical Head, Seed Infotech, Pune. A State Level Project Competition named "Genesis 2K7" was organized on 25th March 2007. The Chief Guest was Mr. Umesh Joshi, Director, Murvsoft, Pune and Mr. Sunil Deshpande, Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Pune. A number of guest lectures for the students were organized and were delivered to them by the most prominent people from the software as well as teaching industry. Ltd. on 16th Sept 2006 An Industrial Visit for the final year students was arranged to Satellite Station Pune on 04th and 5th Oct 2006 An Envormental visit for Second Year students was organized at Sindhudurg on 21st & 22nd March 2007 An Aptitude test was organized for Third Year students on 25th march 2007 A visit to All India Radio Station visit for S.E.(E&TC) students was organized on 27th March 2007 A Project competition was organized under lead college concept on 5th April 2007 A Seminar on Embedded System and Project selection was delivered by Mr. Aditya Marathe on 8th April 2007 Few Guest Lectures were arranged for final year students on Video Engg. & Broad Band Communication DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
