Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering Kolhapur started in the academic year of 2001. Mechanical Engineering Department started in academic year 2006-07.

The department has with well equipped laboratories, well qualified, experienced and dedicated staff. The department encourages faculty members to always expand their knowledge by attending various summer/winter courses, workshops, seminars and National /International level Conferences.

Objective of Department is to impart technical and other essential education of high standard to produce well cultured Engineers. Department has kept pace with the rapid development of Computing facility, CAD/CAM/CAE/CFD with all basic Mechanical software.

The department has separate building for Workshop with proper setup.

Department has maintained good interaction with Industry and R&D Organizations for the development of students for their Industrial Visits, providing training and jobs.

Our Training & Placement cell is more active for students Training & Job providing to students.

We are giving a platform for student activities through MESA [Mechanical Engineering Students’ Association] to encourage their inner talent and activities.
